The CyberPatriot National Youth Cyber Education Program was created by the Air Force Association to inspire high school students toward careers in cybersecurity or other science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines critical to our nation's future. At the core of the CyberPatriot program is the National Youth Cyber Defense Competition, which challenges teams of students to resolve real-life cybersecurity situations in a virtual environment.  Cyber Patriot VII is gearing up now.  Please make contacts with your schools soon to have them enroll or re-enroll in this important program.

Letter from the Indiana AFA Great Lakes Regional President

I truly appreciate everyone's efforts in promoting CyberPatriot and encourage each chapter to actively support our State's CyberPatriot teams.  AFA chapter members have a real opportunity to positively impact the students' learning experience
by supporting local teams in various ways, such as:
  • Contacting the team coach to find out which date he or she has selected for team competition.
  • Asking the coach if a member of your chapter could observe his team in action on the day of the competition.
  • Offering to buy lunch for the team.
  • Taking team photos.

You may find other creative ways to support your local team(s).

Thank you for helping make this year's competition a real Hoosier success!
