* Hoosier Air Museum (Very nice small museum. The staff were friendly and helpful, letting me wander on my own but quick to answer questions and tell stories. Planes include antiques, homebuilts, and military. There's an AH-1 Cobra that served in Vietnam and you can sit in it, if you're nimble. They sometimes give (well, sell) rides in a Cub and a Champ. It's a bit out of the way, and may soon be harder to get to with the airport expansion, but it's worth seeking out. |
